had to drive her for a few days last week since i sold the wheels off my 'yota. Noticed that the HID's would flick off when i hit a bump. then i got into it yesterday and had a huge drop in power. Then she wouldnt start. Popped the hood and found the positive battery cable loose. Today, I threw a washer under it to close the gap and now she has POWA!! Wound her out to 16.5psi no problems. TT chip flashed twice at around 9psi then pulled strong to 16.5psi. Not bad for straight washer fluid in the meth kit and about 1:3 87/89 octane gas mix.

pulled the sy apart and getting it ready for paint on tuesday. man those rivets are a bitch to drill lol.

Truck beat me up today. I'm skinned up and have sore muscles. Didn't get as much done as I had hoped. But I made progress.

Got twin electric fans hooked up and fitted today (ex-V6 Mondeo) - fit inside the factory shroud to keep it looking stock, shift loads of air and total outlay $0.00. I wish I had more days like this!

Drove the truck a bit and tuned some of the driveability and AE tables on the XFI.

Still don't have TC lockup - need to revisit that - I think I've got it sorted out now on paper just have to do it.

Well lucky me, I just found it on ebay from a fleemarket type reseller who had it for sell for 199 and 69 shipped.
Also got this today $96 shipped from amazon! These things are huge!

Those look great. I really like that they are already silver. They should look bad ass mounted on the truck with a new set of wheels.

Collected a new set of vortec heads and spent yesterday drilling the holes and tapping them for the stock intake pattern.

Last night. Got the cladding back from paint & put it on. Now going out to finish clean-up, bolt the wheels on and give her a bath. Then off to the Good Guys show. Taking the truck to the Good Guys Super Sunday show & shine tomorrow.:D
