after 7 years finally got around to doing this... lost count how many times i said "fvck this truck!" in the first 10 minutes. It's also amazing how many different variations of curse words you can come up with after you break a bolt loose and smash your fingers... did i mention 'fvck this truck"?

So far I'm here:
I'm cleaning EVERYTHING...There is nothing I hate more than a dirty, nasty engine compartment. I inspected the heads and pistons, determined that all is fine, so once the motor is clean I'll put her back together.

So far I'm here:

Frame came home in primer, Now i can install everything and then take it apart again for final paint

no, the turbo got off balance from eating the intake plastic. God only knows how many miles it was like that. Everything else is good though, luckily. I just have to clean up the mess.

Worked on Typhoon again, installed steering colum[/IMG]
Brake booster[/IMG]
Installed parking brake assembly and cable. Also installed head liner and console[/IMG] Still allot more left to do.

Installed my lowering blocks that I bought from djsy934. Also disabled the air ride and replaced the shocks with regular shocks. Weather is absolutely crappy here right now, so I'll post up some pics when I can. No more ass-high stance for her and the rear wheels sit evenly in the wells...she sits nice and even front to back now. :tup:

the past week my roommate and I have changed over all the parts from the blown motor to the new used block, switched to solid motor mounts (fvck you, fvck you, and fvck!!! you!!!!), installed new steering shaft and zq8 box, new poly tranny mount, dropped engine back in, and got started putting everything back together... still about another 2 days of work before it's driveable. Then it's time to get the KY jelly out and go get it smogged.
If this truck doesn't run right, i'm selling it and buying a 55 chevy truck like I should've done in the first place instead of buying this lousy saudi POFS! :fist:

Pulled exhaust, cat, down pipe and both drives shafts. Removed bolts holding the tranny and block together.

Day three: got the other head off and cleaned the motor a little bit. Then Cleaned the firewall and engine compartment down pretty good. I'm still trying to find one place that sells everything I need to put her back together (gaskets, lifters springs rockers valves, etc). I emailed a vendor from here but go no response. There is a part store down the street that sells aftermarket performance stuff that people have told me about. So I'm going to check that out this afternoon. Once I get all the parts I need, I'm going to sand and polish the upper intake and IC. I'll prb also paint the heads and manifold since they are off.
