MIGHTYMOUSE
Turbo F body guy
giving the engine a clean bill of health for the potential sale of the truck, i took it down to the local machine shop for an inspection.
they said that the wrist pin bushings were wearing bad, that they were bad enough to cause audible noise eventually.
the first time i took them the engine it was making a noise, and they replaced the wrist pin bushings then too.
what is up with the wrist pin bushings? what can i do to get them to last? brand?
please advise... no signs of detonation otherwise.
an aside question is how loose do you run your pistons in the holes? said mine are on the loose side.
thanks
