I felt it was my fault for not asking for detailed pictures of the crack. Plus with the feedback system we have here there is no way to post a response or to have anyone actually check out the facts about a transaction...

Aaron, you have a flawless feedback rating and other members would give much weight to your feedback comments solely based off of that fact....the only ones requiring fact checking are newbs around here who scrowl the pooch right from jump street, like 11secty, who has done a steller job of self incrimination throughout this entire ordeal so limited fact checking has been required.

Well 390, I'm not sure I follow you on that since the guy who made the comment and started this whole thing is a real piece of work... in more ways than one :roll: . Just wondering though, did you actually read this whole thread (really read it all) and the links in here (honestly wouldn't blame you if you didn't since it's a serious messed up and way too long drama that shouldn't have been). I guess it just comes down to the difference beteween used "parts" and "scrap" sold as used / usable parts :dunno:

His off-shade comment is not aimed at you....it is aimed at me; thus the reason he got such a laugh from 11secty's message to me. See, he had a used turbo for sale a couple days ago at 66% off MSRP, although I never validated that pricing claim because I think he was right on the MSRP pricing aspect. I committed to buy it and through a PM, asked him AT MY EXPENSE to take the turbo to a local shop and have it checked out for me first. I would pay upfront for the inspection and then fund the $400 for the unit after it checked out. He jumped on the site and said I backed out of the deal...I want a new turbo at a used price...blazee blazee. When I called his bluff publically for misquoting me since I never backed out of the deal, he then replies his response was aimed more at himself than me. Why would anyone diss themself publically???? My request for a inspection was based off a local mechanics advice AND because of your current ordeal with 11secty AND because he got the turbo and alledgedly never used it. That combination of events triggered a concern and when he refused to have it checked out for me and publically tried to make me look like the villian, it was definately a deal I am elated I didn't get involved in. He apologized for his comments on that thread and I accepted the apology but now it is obvious he is not over it yet with the comments he made on here, even though Epix already paid him for the same turbo unit in question. I guess, James, you should be doing flips since you got a $900 used turbo for $300 (66% off) :dunno:.....so now you know....the REST of the story. Good Day.

My comment was purely NOT AIMED AT ANYONE ... I just was agreeing that things like this wouldnt happen if people just bought things NEW. Its just something I have learned over time myself (yes I have been ripped off before). You need to chill out ---

Well I honestly feel bad for James, but right now he is only out $90 ... and it doesnt seem like the other guy wants his parts back. Atleast everyone knows not to deal with this guy now.

I just re-read the thread, and I SERIOUSLY didnt notice he quoted you in the post that I quoted. How would I know you were a postal worker? Now I see where the confusion started. I was quickly skimming through, and I just noticed his ACTUAL post ... and agreed with the fact that if people bought new parts; these things wouldnt happen. IMO, too many people buy stuff on here, and flip it for a profit on Ebay.... keeping the deals away from MEMBERS THAT CAN USE THE PART. I explained why getting that turbo checked for you wasnt going to happen. I only wanted $350 for it, and my shop is close to a 2 hour drive IN THE SNOW there and back. I buy autograph football cards a few times a week. Actual shipping cost is never more than $1. But I always pay $3-$5

No it's not the actual amount. It's the lie after lie after lie. It's the fact he has purposly tried to make me look bad and called me out in public....... AND CONTINUED TO LIE and push this crap even after confronted in PM's and offered a fair and honest solution with 100% proof to support said, every step of the way. Like Renz said, the fact that I was charged and paid for a faster / more reliable shipping service and the rock bottom slowest was was used(parcel post) causing huge amounts of confusion and 3 plus month delivery time. Also his just no good attitude in general.... period.
