Thanks for all of the info. How did you do a craigslist search like that?
Those are all good, but I'm really looking for a GMC only. I know they only made they for two years but there must be at least a few out there for sale.

I searched for GMC Yukon GT's, but came up empty. Click here for my prefered CL search engine.
Duh, first time I searched specifically for Yukon Gt. Broaden it to 2dr search, better luck.....

Thank you for the info and trying to look. I'm pretty sure all Yukon GT's were 4WD. I'm looking for the 95-96 Yukon's and I believe they were the only years they made them in 2WD.

Not what you are looking for, but if you broaden your search my neighbor has a '98 Tahoe 2 door 4wd that needs a motor. Probably pick it up cheap!

Thanks for the info man. I did not know they made a 2wd Yukon GT. What year was that? 95-96? Also, it would be very interesting to find it in a manual.

Correct on the years but they did have a 2wd Yukon GT that was also available as a manual.
I gave up looking.
Let us know what you find though.

Your right that one isnt bad. I'd rather get a truck thats pretty much stock instead of already moddified. I believe that 92 has the old style dash which I dont want either. Yes I'm picky.
So from talking to some more people it looks like they made the Yukons from 95-97 in 2dr 2wd.

What does everyone think of something like this? Comes with an older diesel engine put already has a 4L80E installed. Maybe swap a LS motor into it either a 5.3 or 6.0L.
I guess that has everything I want minus the 2wd

Tailgate/ liftgate just like our trucks.
This is the only one that I've found for sale so far that is 2wd 2dr. I did find some Tahoe's, but who wants a Chevy when you can have a GMC.

Thats what I said. The plan is right now to go and buy this then sell my 05 Sierra after. If I cant sell my Sierra I dont think I will have a problem selling this truck either.
The owner says it looks just as good underneith too.

So after debating buying this truck for the last few days. I've decided on passing on this truck all together. I dont think I can daily drive a vehicle in the Northeast that is 2wd. I would really love this truck but money and space are an issue right now so I'm going to pass it up. The truck needs a transmission, goes into gear and moves but will not shift into 3rd. When I was talking to the owner he was offering it to me for $2500 and would not take a penny less. I don't know if that is still the price but I'm sure it's close.
