I think I have a bad or broken mount under the body of the truck. Is there a cross member or something under cab or just behind. I get a loud pop when I go over bumps a certain way.


Also getting loud popping from front right wheel well when turning hard left only. Bearings?

Cross member pop is probably your torsion bar mounts ( don't know if that is there official name ), little rubber pieces that mount to the inside of the frame under the cross member.

Poping from R/F could be bearing, could be a bad CV axle ( but usually that's a clicking noise ), could be a really worn idler arm.

Idler arm causes popping sound? Hmmm....after Christmas I'm pretty much redoing the entire front suspension.

I don't have any idea what your problem is without seeing it, just trying to give you ideas of any part on that side that COULDpop under turning. If was extremely worn it COULD pop, it might be allowing enough movement for the center link to be bumping the frame. The idler bolts up into a slotted spot to allow for alignment of the center link, if it was too high and have movement this could happen, I seen stranger things.

I know sorry man i know i said it wasnt for sale on this thread a while ago :roll: but that was before my trans crapped out, and i was just accumulating goodies to put on this winter...the bam bye bye trans, so i figured a chip and stuff would be pointless with a smoked trans.

thats cool, it was pretty much getting thrown in for free anyway, you could still have it (never hurts to have a spare)
