I did receive a pair of brackets. They don't fit, tho' the holes were elongated - I PM'ed about them & was told that they were actually ones that Jorgensen had made & he got w/ the templates.....
I'm sending them back as they're not useable w/o modification and one of the holes is 1/8" from the edge already....
Just gonna fab my own - like I shoulda done in the 1st place.....

I talked to the guy that is making the cables, and the ones i had before and sent back to have them fix will be here monday, he said look at them and if they are right he is ready to make me 30 more, but wants to make sure everything is right before, so the other 30 should be shipped by the end of next week and we can finally get this wrapped up.

Monday has come.. are the cables in? or are you still in "waiting on them mode"?

No PM's with contact info for the cable manufacturer and one bracket kit that he did not make (JJ's) and it didn't fit. :roll:
I've had 2 sets of shifter cables done in this guy's timeframe. I call BS in there being a cable manufacturer until the phone number is given with a legitimate contact.

I hate to make you guys wait any longer than absolutly needed, but i also think that this will make the kits a lot better, and feel the wait will def be worth it.

Am I the only one that found it odd that he took money without having a clear indication from the "cable manufacturer" on what the cost would be? I mean, he took "everyone's" money and then "changed the design" completely. . How could there have been a true price? Have you produced ANY brackets of your own? Cables have obviously never been ordered. I've worked with cable manufacturers before. This is complete BS. This aggrivates the piss out of me every time I see it. You guys need to stand up for yourselves. I won't post anymore, it's pretty silly at this point. I'm beginning to think that he made up having "all these parties" that had paid to coax others into thinking that he had a ton of orders to give the appearance that you would be safe to give him your money...then just kept the money from the few that did order. Pretty sad. Never posted a listed of user names, nothing. Do what MRKING said and read the whole thread. It materializes really fast and it makes perfect sense.

Be a man and send everyone's money back.
You have very little invested in this so you are not out any money.
It is sad that after 5 months you can only ship out brackets that you didnt even make.

The last thing you want to do is piss off everyone in the SYTY and S-10 and make a bad name for yourself. NOBODY will respect you.
Time to step up.

Just to clarify this, I sold HotRodV6 the original templates, designs and cable information, along with one prototype bracket which was not drilled for a truck nor ever intended to be installed. Anything that has come from this GP was in no way manufactured by me

I didn't mean to imply that Jorg. had anything to do w/ this mess....I hope it didn't sound as if he did - only that HRV6 didn't even claim to have made what he sent to me.

Nope ,I knew he was full of shit. Dealing with all the different parts suppliers that I do in my in my line of work I knew there wasn't a snowballs chance in hell he was telling the truth about what was going on.

let's break down his list of excuses.

Ok, well i know some of the folks that have ordered a kit are starting to get alittle antsy about when the kits will ship out, and to be completely honest ive beed busy with school and work and trying to get my bravada 2wd frame sawap finished up and havent been able to work on the kits very much.

But the biggest hold up has been with the cables, everybody that has ordered a 2nd gen kit the cables will be here in the next two weeks, but im still waiting on the first gen cables from the manufacturer, im having trouble getting the guy to call me back, but im have been on his ass pretty hard the last week and ill be calling him back tommorow and telling him we got to have this done or im gonna have to go somewhere else becasue this is taking way to long and i comepletly understand people getting tired of waiting, and trust me im doing everything i can to get this wrapped up.

OK, i finally got the guy to call me back on the cables, apparently hes been on vacation i guess, anyways i got the order placed today, and he told me it would be 10 days lead time for them to ship, also they got the new ends in finally as well so if its ok with everybody involved im gonna get the brackets and hardware finished up and once the cables get here ship everything together, but the one order for brackets only will ship by the end of this week.

Thanks again for everybodys patients with this.

To set the record straight, im not out to take anybodys money or rip anybody off. Yes the frame swap has taken alot more time and effort than i originally thought. I will have all the brackets and hardware shipped out by the end of next week, i will also be powdercoating everyones brackets at no charge just to say sorry for the wait.

When you take someones money for parts..getting them to your customers should be a higher priority than any personal project you have going.
where are these powdercoated brackets?

well for the record i was in DFW area for my Sisters wedding, and the trip to MI was helping out a freind.

The brackets amd hardware will be boxed up and shipped out next week, i was told yesterday i will have the cables here in a week to 10 days.

Also reusing to stock cables wont work, and wrapping the cable around the arm on the f-body backing plate is cheesy and will put to much stress on the stock cables, and they will break. If it were that easy i wouldnt be messing around with getting new cables made. The place manufacturing the cables is an OEM supplier, and if they have a bunch of large OEM orders they get priority over outside stuff. These will be OEM quality cables also not some cheap junk..

Nearly a month later and no reply and no one has gotten anything besides him sending one guy the original proto type bracket he bought from someone else that wouldn't work.


I think to sum we can say this guy bit off more than he could chew, got everyones money then decided to do other things with it and now he is trying to hide under the covers and wishing this would go away.

Whatta doosh bag. I'd like to personally stomp a mud hole in his ass after reading all his piss poor excuses why no parts have been shipped....I'd be hot too guy.

I'd definitely try to get my money back as it doesn't sound like this guy is anything but a HACK who can't make parts that work correctly anyway...F'n dounut puncher.

I'm calling the company that he was supposed to have used Monday. Another member gave me the name of the company that JJorgensen used and that is supposed to be the same company that HRV6 used. I'll let you guys know if he's ever talked to them and actually placed an order.

This will help determine at which point he decided to just take the money.

Also i talked to him today and the cables will be done wednesday and shipped and i should have them by early next week at the lastest, and the complete kits will ship out then.


Everybody that has NOTHING to do with this GP or anyother GP's i may have going and want to just want to come in here and give there opinions, well it doesnt bother me one bit, becasue i KNOW im not out to rip anybody off, or take anybodys money and not give them what they payed for, in the begining the kits were 215 and once i got to 10 orders i gave everybody a discount and refunded money back to people that payed first. Yes it has taken WAY longer than i wanted it to, i know people hate paying for parts and then waiting forever to get them, im that way myself, but there is alot of time during GP's on this board that take awhile to complete, ive been in some of thoses GP's myself as a customer.

All i know is everybody is entitled to there OPINION.
