I don't think you'd be able to help me with a vette, maybe a ls-1 but there's no vettes in this guys future. Can't stand the cars and the personality of the drivers suck dicks. Those cars are only dick extensions.

Im telling ya i always felt inferior to all thoose other men while i was in the gym....so i bought a corvette. My 600hp Ws6 tans am with a transbrake and 6pt cage just was filling out the boxers if you know what i mean. I just hope that the typhoon will make me look big and give me courage to be an ass on the internet since my dick sucking car will be in the garage

No loss here i guess my dad will have to start driving his new camaro or m3 and ill take the silverado we bought back from him... its a little cold to ride my motorcylce to work. Man so many options for being so young, to bad i didnt get schooled earlier in life. And btw it looks like you have definatley had a lost in you live otherwise i believe you demeanor would be totally diferent. Men like you that need to feel good by putting others down are the real loosers, not poor me with a broken tranny on my new toy that i planned on driving everyday. Nah, you win, your the bigger ass than me. You can brag about what you have or had, I've been down that road already. On to bigger and better things in life instead of wasting my time hearing about a vette. or camaro. What did you have to do to make that thing fast? Put down $15k? They aren't anything special, my friend has bought two of them, one to put away for collectors sake, and the other to drive, and he's thinking of selling it already. It wasn't as great as the hype.The m3 is probably more along your yuppie lines. Still living with dad? What mom left because your attitude was the same as his? Figures. Have fun with your tranny, I'll wait till your next post for I dunno what to do now. Go buy something else new, maybe you can't fix that either.

Nope dont live with mom and dad i have my own home that my wife and raise our son in. My mom and dad still live together not divorced after 32 yrs. I guess i never saw anything wrong with being upper class...

O.k I'll be nice to him now that he's on jackstands. Welcome to the site, there's going to be days that you hate these trucks and times you love them. There's lots of helpfull peeps on this site and sometimes there's assholes( I'm usually in that one), but it's a great site to find info and rip on people. Hopefully you get yours off the stands before it ends up like a fixture, like most of the guys on this site.

Since you know nothing about the sale of this truck how about keeping negative statements to yourself. I sold the truck in a lot better shape than i bought it, didnt drive it much at all. I let Doug know that i had noticed, what appeared to be the Tconvertor locking and unlocking strangely in OD, but it had been rebuilt shortly before i got it so i assumed it wasnt anything major.

Norm, i dont think i know you, but maybe have met if you have been to the states for nats or HC in the last few years, But either way, you seem like an ass on this thread. The guy just wanted some tranny info, and you want to start attacking his Dick sucking personality because he owns a vette?! He stated he didnt know much about these trucks but did know about x car and y car, so you attack him for owning or knowing things diff than syty's. Ass! Who cares your opinion on vettes, or if your dick is long enough or not to own one.


Our time is so limited we cant know everything, or own all cars, yuppie BMW's, dick ext corvettes and sytys, Fords (self explanatory), so the accumulative knowledge of board members goes along way.

I dont know Doug very well at all, but he seems decent, not a dick sucking personality, not a live at mommy and daddy's spot, and has a very nice looking vette and baby.

Look at the bright side, once you get the tranny taken care of you will love the truck that much more! Your getting dragged along for all the fun that is apparent for this awsome macheines, and the frist bump came sooner then later. It will be worth it in the end...at least you have one in possesion!:)

we are a small group of people, sometime it needs patience on parts etc. u better get used to it, and no cutting edges as well if you want to dily drive it. that's why i recommended waller. there was some shit on the board about him on other stuff. but he stands behind his transmissions without a doubt. better to wait a few weeks now, than to have some local fab it up and failure within a few months.

I agree with the earlier post about the propshaft... might want to start looking for a gilbert, or call up D&R driveline like i did, only a couple hundred bucks for the gilbert equivalent (or better?) This is the same thing that happened to my truck. 1st was the tranny... 3 grand.... then the propshaft blew off and was a grand to repair due to transmission cables and brackets and other stuff getting destroyed when it blew off...(buy a shaft loop) and labor. Then the motor went... Idk what this is gunna cost me...anywhere from 2-6 grand depending on what I end up doing...rebuilding or replacing...this is with responsible daily driving and no time at the track....ever...

This brick has quickly ended up more expensive than even a corvette (i know this because my cousin owns a c5 z06 and blew his trans and motor and somehow it ended up cheaper to repair his ls6 than the ty's 4.3 so far) Had I known all this was going to go, I would have re-thought buying the truck. Dont get me wrong, I freakin love this thing, I just wasnt financially ready for it... and unfortunately ive had the worst luck with this ty than anyone else I know who owns one... this all happened in less than a year... since you're obviously in a better financial situation than i am, do yourself a favor and take the proper precautions before something happens to cut costs in half.

Good luck with your transmission. George Blake is no longer around, however I hear good things about Waller's work so I'd trust him.
