They tried to start the engine after assembly without any luck and i got the car into my garage with the help of a tow truck.
After some checks with my tester and the help of the wiring section of the shop manual i found out that the connector on the firewall was the trouble maker. I took it apart and there was a bunch of tar between the connections.
Finally i was getting power in t and voila, ready to start!! At least so i thought.
I then checked with the guy that helped assemble the engine and he told me that ive won the lottery (low purchase price) and that the engine already has a balance billet crank, eagle H beams , JE pistons , brodix heads etc etc. W/ 00000000cero hrs
I then primed the oil, set timing and it did not start, flames though, lots of them.......
At least i got ignition and fuel, then i checked the injector wires and they were flipped (blue was on the left and green on the right), with a smile on my face i started to reassemble the injector wiring and after two turnes that damn thing rumbled so mean that my 750 hp drag civic had its tail between its legs!!!!!
I guess this motivated me to start posting on this forum in order to share my project with you guys. And of course to squeeze a lot of information from you as i really don't know what the hell i bought!!!!
So i will hopefully get some pointers what kind of parts this beast already has .
For starters , appears to be brodix heads with numbers, looked it up and they seem to be some badass heads, any info, took a peak in them and they have some fancy billet rockers , (smile)
Fancy starter
Transmission was (was told) send to a US tranny expert to be beefed up with all the goodies, just dont know what!
Has some sort of blanket around the transmission
I think i read somewhere on this forum that this prop shaft is also not a stock one anymore
Rear diff , say TA performance , just don't know how well they will perform
I think these are the traction bars? With lowering blocks?
photo bucket is slow,
Will update later,
