Sy/Ty shop in Texas

What ever it takes!!
Re: Sy/Ty shop in Texas

I'll be at the track around 6:30ish after work, I would welcome any and all SyTy'ers interested. Every 2nd Friday at SAR is truck night as well as test and tune. Currently I'm at 8psi and looking to max my current wastegate spring setup at 12psi. I just want to verify the fueling is ok, then I will swap my RPM wastegate for a precision one that has a base spring pressure of 15psi instead of the 6psi RPM's has. (Long story) I won't get in to the meth tune or advancing the timing just yet, but I think it's running pretty good. At 8psi it runs consistent 13.60's, so 12psi should drop that to a really low 13 or possibly a high 12. (Based on the ET difference from 6psi to 8psi)

So I guess I will be tuning my piece of ancient history, or at least trying to. :rotf:

I wouldn't mine going myself if I didn't have so much to do around here.

Code what?
I just spent last weekend in San Antonio, can't do it two weekends in a row. Goodluck Joe, your chip is good for your goals/build. The only multichips out there available today limit your build choices/goals. Multichips can be easy to dial in, Bruce ran 10's on his multichip. Getting into your own bin tuning is where I draw the line.

If Bruce doesn't make it out, he has a 24hr SYTY tech support-bitch/complain hotline. Text me and I'll send it to you. :horse:

that's to bad about Henderson. I was really counting on them to get my truck running again. I have no idea who to look up now.

Re: Sy/Ty shop in Texas

Hmm I dont have any plans, hitting the track sounds like a good idea.

Im sure Corey doesnt mind working on the trucks but tuning them with old technology probably not.

Re: Sy/Ty shop in Texas

I was at the track last night (not with my truck, with my friends 01 SS Camaro) and there was a decent turnout. $20 a carload, $15 to race on test and tune nights. Come on over Alex, I'll be there!
