    DEI CryO2

Is anyone using the CryO2 system? Im giving serious consideration to the IC sprayer for my a2a. The air intake option has some appeal as well but my concern is how much of a restriction it would cause. Any feedback? http://www.designengineering.com/products.asp?m=sc&cid=1

    Need an opinion (Gauges)

Unless you already have a fuel pressure guage under the hood, I'd go with that. It's an essential tuning tool especially if you have chip or fuel system mods.

How many are using Air to Air

I agree with all the above. Less clutter in the engine bay, fewer things that can fail (leaks, ic pump). KB here.

Head gaskets. How thick for overbore?

I'm in the process of ordering Cometics. How thick do they need to be to compensate for my .030 overbore with regards to compression ratio? Is there a rule of thumb or formula for calculating this?

1992 Typhoon value? 10K ORIGINAL miles. Original owner.

I'd buy it today for what most are worth these days (stock) but I wouldnt be able to sleep well knowing that I ripped you off for half of what its probably worth based on mileage and obvious TLC. You did well by asking first before you put it out there for someone to take advantage. If you do...

    need help purchasing cladding

I'm trying to get some fiberglass cladding from Paul. http://www.sportmachines.com/parts/cladding.php He does not accept credit cards or Paypal but this is the only way I can get it since I will be expensing the cost to get my money back. Nor do I care to piss my wife off by using my own cash...

    BURNT rubber smell??

I had the same problem. Found that the vac line to the vapor canister was getting cooked by radiant heat off of the driver side header. Couldnt see it from above, though.

What could cause low oil pressure?

Oil pressure with guage on filter housing is 54. Tapping starts around 40 psi as the engine warms. Once temp has stablized, oil pressure hunts between 24 and 26. Pressure increases with revs (40 @ 1800rpm). The tapping is intermittent and is not audible when above idle. Unplugging injector #1...

What could cause low oil pressure?

I have yet to verify it with a mechanical guage. Will to today. I can tap into the oil filter housing for an accurate reading? I didnt look at the cam bearings this time. I had aready found a couple of main bearings worn excessively and just assumed that was the problem and didnt dig any...

What could cause low oil pressure?

Pump? I didnt. Considered that as well and wish I did. Just figured that if it wasnt working that I'd have no pressure at all. Wasnt till this weekend that I read up on the spring bypasses in the lube system. Ugh....hindsight.

What could cause low oil pressure?

Level is fine. Primed the oil system before I fired it up. No shortage of oil.
