Heading for sheet load of traffic NJ 78 west. Pennsy plates, stock wheels, gold badging (I think).. Threw a thumbs up as I rolled by in my Xtreme. Nice truck!! Good to see another SyTy on the road.

Re: Weird sound when driving... Re: Weird sound when driving... Bad u-joints in your driveshaft can cause clicking sound.. not "nuts/bolts in a can sound". Just a thought since your noise is occuring during rotation.

Re: Lucas Pure Synthetic? Yep the Pure Syn oil stabilizer. That's what I'm referring to. Just trying to gettin some opinions on it.

Anyone use this product added into their oil for their SyTy. If we're already running synthetic oil in our trucks, then could this be an added bonus in the oil. Or is it overkill? Pros and cons??

Re: Fenderwells removed Not to get off topic. But the only reason I ran my Chevelle fenderwell-less was because my car had the hard plastic inner fenders. At the time, I had a hard time locating them. Do they make plastic inner fenders for our bodies Sy, Ty, S10/15...?? Obviously I know stock...

Re: Fenderwells removed Occasional road debri, rocks, etc could be an issue. I ran my Chevelle w.o. fenderwells for a short time. If you drive your Sy frequently then you'll definitely see added dirt so forth in your engine area and underside of your hood.

Re: walbro help Brought the Sy to my shop this morning. It started and ran onto the trailer. When I got to the shop, I drove it down the road and sure enough she bogged under boost. I made it into my drive and she kicked out. Had time on the lunch hour to pull the tank. Sure enough.. seems like...
