They say don't use the 450 for "stock" applications. The "too small" restriction is the stock fuel regulator itself. Up-sizing the hose after the regulator won't do squat to fix it.

The engine stays running with the MAP disconnected. The ECM uses a fixed calibration from the CALPACK. The engine should run and be driveable with the MAP disconnected. It won't drive well, but it will move. Beats walking. I just went out and confirmed this on my stock calibration 93.

When working on the turbo (usually the drain pipe to renew the hose on to the oil pan) I always remove the RF tire and inner wheel housing. Takes about 3 minutes with air tools. Much better, easier access to the turbo, wastegate, and the exhaust bolts.
