they're being cut at the waterjet...once i have them in hand i'll do a final mockup and figure out what, if any, spacers/shims are required. And then build brake lines...and then they'll be ready to sell. :tup:

Quick question??

How far off the front of the rotor does the caliper stick out? The new wheels that im getting made for my truck have 1.3" of clearance off the face of the rotor, and my f-body calipers are around 1.2-1.25" already. and that is with wear on the pads.

Does anyone know the size differance in the caliper between the cts-v caliper and the c5 zo6 caliper? Does the Cts-v not use a caliper bracket like the zo6 one does?

It is a fixed caliper instead of a floating, so no extra bracket/slides.

It is also a decent bit bigger and may require a spacer to keep from hitting the spokes of the wheels.

A few post up I asked for a measurement off the face of the rotor, but no response yet. I'm sure it's almost completed and just waiting to post all the info at one time.

That or the towel got thrown in...

I've been reading on ls1tech and they are saying that the 2010 camaro ss rotors have a diff offset by a few mm that may give more clearance for wheels to caliper, though they need to be machined for the hub center a little to fit over there hubs. Dont know much here just sounds like a option for not having to use so much wheel spacer. Maybe renz or sportsmachines can help. I am hoping to get a set of 18 c6 z06 and upgrade to the cts-v's up front. Also there is talk about the fixed calipers not being good on the rear of the f body bc of the clip axels not sure if it is the same for ours.

How much does these calipers cost? Front and rear? I'm finding $400+ per caliper. That's more than the c6 z06 caliper.

Did the shop truck at HC have the setup done? Info on what offset wheels fit would be very helpful! I have asked before and I'm sure you guys are just waiting to complete everything. But how far past the rotor face does the caliper sick out? Top of caliper? Bottom of caliper?

Here for parts when they are in. I know they have some random pic but the part is the correct gm # look em up by the #'s. If these aint cheap I'll kiss you @$$.

Oh, dam! That is cheap:0 thanks for the info. I may just go ahead and do this instead of the c6 zo6 brakes again. Try something different. I just emailed Mike today to see how much of the kit I have to make my self

if i have to spend to much time then I may just go with the zo6's again. Eye candy
