Re: 2007 fast trucks...open season

Would you honestly expect to hear anything else ever again from John (Bully) after the habitual roasting he gets here from the ill-informed-who-think-they-are?
Suffice it to say that if any of you knew what actually happened last year at Nats (mechanical gremlins - didn't blow the heads off), you'd shit your pants that he actually ran that fast to begin with. I mean - totally blow your mind.
As for the other guys on this list....why would they come out to Nats? To have people criticize or question their reasons/motives for their combinations? Some people (like 420 racing) like to keep it quiet for street-racing, but many people just don't want to deal with the b$.

well Alex I was simply posting what i "know" based on what has been told to me or posted by the owners. Not everyone on the board is an enemy to John, and having a friendly thread asking for updates from the big hitters does 0 harm. As you can see some people have given us an update of where they are at with their builds/setups, others haven't and thats their perrogative.

In the efforts to find out a few things, John pushed out a head gasket - everyone's heart sank.

...just think, at Nats, he ran a low-10 second pass, popping all the way down because the valve springs were shot (the strongest spring reading 65# of seat pressure)!
You yourself is where i got the information of the head gasket. I guess i was wrong to believe what you'd typed. Or maybe you posted that before John had actually torn it down to figure out it was just valve springs. I don't know...and i never posted the info i posted claiming it was 100% accurate. Besides if i was wrong, i was hoping that the owners would chime in a correct me.
John is a good guy, i know this. I still want to use his pulley fabbing skills at some point, i just haven't gotten around to that stage yet. Every time you post here you bring up the same old points and let nothing just die off. Yes, NATS was uncomfy for the Bully crew. Yes, that shouldn't have happened the way it did. Yes, there was alterior reason for why everything transpired as it did. You weren't at NATS this year, who knows if you'll ever attend again, but i can gaurantee that there were no harsh feelings the entire weekend and it was a much different atmosphere amongst the crowd.
All I ask from you Alex, is to give everything/everyone another chance. Alot of that b.s. has since blown over. It may be in the back of everyones minds still...but the less people keep bringing it up, the better chance we can all get on w/ the betterment of the community.
