Bully's truck should've been rebuilt by now, and last I heard he was hoping to get it up to the track. He was also talking about selling it in favor of building a Vette

Think he'll run at Truck Fest? He's certified for it.

We'd definitely make it if Bully Sy will make a pass.

There are a few "Fast" trucks coming together this year down south. Mine is one of them. Kind of keeping the combination quiet for right now, as the truck will see significant street time for significant street money :) Unfortunately, that doesn't help this thread much :(

Just thought I'd put it out there that there are probably half a dozen (or more? Who knows) very fast trucks built / being built right now that will surprise the hell out of people ;)

thanks for the 1/2 inside scoop. :) Thats the point of this thread, to hopefully help convince the 'secret' trucks give everyone some insight as to how fast they're going/planning on going (and even share build details if they are willing).

I'm hoping to have the truck together by year's end. E.T. / Speed goal? I'll settle for a full pass under it's own power, with a decent time being a bonus. ;) Honestly, all sorted out? Who knows... low 10's, high 9's maybe?

Build is as listed in the sig. :)

Nothing on the computer. I'll see if I can get some of what I have scanned, but don't hold your breath on my account. ;)

:D the missfortune in Poland is soon to be a bad memory.
This year Robert had´nt have a single run without som sort of gremblin biting him in the A$$..

Some small issues with the trans, some minor adjustment in the engine (due to the change to XFI) what gear to use, some missguided thinkin about the troubbles leading to the wrong direktion, (thats easy U know, (U cant se the forrest, because all the tree´s))

Then finaly the truck was upp to par and better, then Poland hit us right in the face :C

But as Robert so calmly explained to all "spectators" that asked "whats happened?" THats RACING...

I´ll bet hes gona set some new best time this year, but the season here is running fast to its end..

Hey Mike, l thought I had spent enough money to make your list. Hopefully I'll be able to produce a Tslip to get me on there. If I can ever finish the rx7 road race car I have at the shop, I'll be able to dedicate some time to finish breaking in the truck, then dyno and then finally track!

oops...forgot about your truck also BigAl! I've never known your truck to run though  so don't really know a baseline. If that thing doesn't hit 9s w/ that basketball-sized turbo then you aren't running much boost. Def let us know when shes running!

Most of us got to watch him limp it down the track to some painful 10s...obviously has WAY more in it. Blew the heads off, but was rebuilding last i knew. Get that thing running!

Would you honestly expect to hear anything else ever again from John (Bully) after the habitual roasting he gets here from the ill-informed-who-think-they-are?

Suffice it to say that if any of you knew what actually happened last year at Nats (mechanical gremlins - didn't blow the heads off), you'd shit your pants that he actually ran that fast to begin with. I mean - totally blow your mind.

As for the other guys on this list....why would they come out to Nats? To have people criticize or question their reasons/motives for their combinations? Some people (like 420 racing) like to keep it quiet for street-racing, but many people just don't want to deal with the b$.

the problem is, most of the BS is either caused by them talking-sh*t to other fast trucks for fun, causing problems for others, just being cocky pricks, or their "crew" running their mouths for no reason.

I don't know why you think bully got such a "roasting" aside from someone calling the track and making it painful for someone who traveled across the world to run, their entire "crew" seperated themselves from the get go.. no matter how nice people where they just had the "I'm better than you" persona about them.

competition is fun, talkin-sh*t and causing problems isn't.. those that can't handle the competition usually cause problems.

well Alex I was simply posting what i "know" based on what has been told to me or posted by the owners. Not everyone on the board is an enemy to John, and having a friendly thread asking for updates from the big hitters does 0 harm. As you can see some people have given us an update of where they are at with their builds/setups, others haven't and thats their perrogative.

In the efforts to find out a few things, John pushed out a head gasket - everyone's heart sank.

qbnkiller said:
...just think, at Nats, he ran a low-10 second pass, popping all the way down because the valve springs were shot (the strongest spring reading 65# of seat pressure)!

You yourself is where i got the information of the head gasket. I guess i was wrong to believe what you'd typed. Or maybe you posted that before John had actually torn it down to figure out it was just valve springs. I don't know...and i never posted the info i posted claiming it was 100% accurate. Besides if i was wrong, i was hoping that the owners would chime in a correct me.

John is a good guy, i know this. I still want to use his pulley fabbing skills at some point, i just haven't gotten around to that stage yet. Every time you post here you bring up the same old points and let nothing just die off. Yes, NATS was uncomfy for the Bully crew. Yes, that shouldn't have happened the way it did. Yes, there was alterior reason for why everything transpired as it did. You weren't at NATS this year, who knows if you'll ever attend again, but i can gaurantee that there were no harsh feelings the entire weekend and it was a much different atmosphere amongst the crowd.

All I ask from you Alex, is to give everything/everyone another chance. Alot of that b.s. has since blown over. It may be in the back of everyones minds still...but the less people keep bringing it up, the better chance we can all get on w/ the betterment of the community.
