Just to set the record straight,I maintain without equivocation that I had no prior knowledge of this prank,nor did I aide,abet,or have ANYTHING to do with it.

Ultimately who cares? I lurk these boards and have for years. This is one of the silliest arguments I've ever seen on here.

No one in question bought the PPG. No one has parted it out. Everyone knows it wasn't the real T-Bone that posted (at least now they do). SO what's the big deal? In the real world outside of the internet, people drag names through the mud on a regular basis. If it's that important to you, do something about it other than whining on the board. If you TRULY feel that your character has been slandered, then hire a lawyer and take it up with them. If not, just drop it and move on.

sure, if you wanna split hairs about it I guess they did, but the account was made LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG before the PPG or any of GMs vehicles were announced for auction, nobody knew the thread was going to be made other than the person who made it.

I still maintain very close contacts with my military counterparts and the MI / counter-MI department is the absolute best. Keep in mind that NOTHING in the private sector is secure and records can be obtained by the government without warrant (and with relative ease).....even chat room dialogue.

I already know of four that were in on this so you can deny it all you want, but that doesn't change the facts. 2 administrators were involved (both on the east coast) and you were one of them, despite you chiming up and trying to wash your hands of any knowledge of it. I had hoped you were being honest but that isn't the case.

Finally, the account was a recently opened account and it was modified with my current post count after Jan 1, 2009 so again, you have proven yourself a liar. Let me guess.....your input above is accurate and you just guessed into the future what my exact post count would have been as of Jan 14th????

I will not continue to be an active member of this board so long as those entrusted with eliminating non-sense have their fingerprints all over it so I will be signing off permanently. Some of you should really grow up and learn to cover your tracks better. Your conduct affects more than just this forum and the dwindling Nats event should be a testament to those ailing in sight. For the 95% of guys on here that are decent and fun to be around, I wish you all the best. If you ever need anything, contact me directly or reach me through the corvette and Saleen mustang forums.

Uh oh. I don't really like the fact that a mod/admin would break the rules or do some behind the scenes crap, but a joke is a joke and it was pretty good. It fooled a lot of people. I myself thought it was really T-bone posting, but making a joke and couldn't believe people would actually think he would part it out.

don't forget that you hadn't posted for a while. But...in reality all you're doing is pulling at every piece of information that you can grasp to try to finger the person that is "responsible". For all intense purposes....how about if I just take the blame. It was my idea, i pulled it off, the gun and the glove fit me. Does my taking credit/responsibility for the prank change anything for you? Had I fessed up 3 seconds after posting the original thread would you be acting any differently? My guess is no, you'd still be flying off the handle unable to accept the thread as a mindless practical joke in which no animals nor syty's were injured.

a prank like this in which you being the sole person unable to laugh it off....is in no way correlated to NATS attendance. :roll: You've attended one NATS. There are many reasons that NATS attendance had (I say had, becuase i'm confident things will change starting with this year - and i have my reason for believing/knowing this) dwindled. I'm not even going to begin to list everything, becuase its in the past and can't be changed...and does no good. Knowing the past just helps us build upon upcoming events to make them better.



As for leaving for good becuase of this. C'mon. I know that you've been quick to call out the admins/mods before for not "doing our jobs" but what would it theoretically take for you to stick around. Just out of curiosity. For arguments sake. Maybe your airing of grievances now can help the community as a whole.

we do behind the scenes crap ALL THE TIME. That is our "job" in these positions.

As for breaking rules....what rules were broken? You could argue that an admin modifying a post count could go against internet ethics...but thats still debateable.


In the end....no one was hurt. No one's reputations were hurt. No trucks were bought or parted out becuase of this thread.

send your MI / counter-MI guys after me, please.

way to waste tax payers $ and our countries resources doing your own personal deeds, I feel sorry for those guys having to put up with you just because you are all military. I'm sure they want to have little to nothing to do with you but feel obligated to help out a brother.

this forum is full of people that will go out of their way to help others with similar interests, I've made life long friends here and if you don't like spending time participating on the forum then you should leave. If you feel like you were wronged in some way or another than ask for an apology, I'm sure everyone that laughed or was entertained by the thread will apologize.

Have fun with your corvettes, mustangs, and whatever else you have, none of those communities will ever be as tight knit as this one. Have fun being an outsider!

He really does. I guy once bought ME from Eric. I had no idea I was even owned, much less sold.....and I had to go to court to get the bill-of-sale nullified. I'll never cross that guy....he has some crazy skills.
