Re: Motor rebuild for 92TY#73
Making slow progress but at least I am making some right? A little update on the motor situation, had to get all new pistons. Going with the .40 over JE's. I am not sure when everything will be done or when I will have everything back but as of now, I am thinking I should have everything back from the machine shop by the end of October. The only thing I have really worked on is the core support. I have spent a lot of time on it and been very patient in "putting it together", so try not laugh:lol:
Here it is from the front
And from the back
I had about 3 holes drilled for hood pins (all mistakes:roll

and I welded wheel studs in place, cut them off and ground them down. I think they came out pretty good
This is where I had several holes drilled for things like relays and what not, just welded steel over them
Well, that's it for now. I just got a master cylinder for my hydraboost and will be putting that together next. And if anyone is wondering if the core support is now flimsy?? Far from, it is sturdy as all hell. I also made everything to where the IC and Efan will now bolt up smoothly to where as before it was a hacked up mess.
