I had just moved left to get on it, was accelerating when all hell broke loose. Car went left, then right and down into the trees probably within 1000 ft of on ramp start.

i'd be going back to check for some sand, gravel, marbles, or black ice. I envisioned a way sharper curve.

I agree, something was odd. I wasn't driving like grandma but I wasn't being a total jackass either.

I have not had time to get back to scene at all, being on ramp not a good place to be walking around at either. I promise I am not that much of an idiot of a driver, I did go almost 40 years before wrecking any car.

I don't have anyone to blame but myself but something out of the ordinary happened.

I suspect cops either felt I suffered enough or they agreed as I have not gotten any tickets yet either or even been questioned beyond the initial what happened.

That area is under HEAVY construction currently with the new bridge and interstate rework going in. I suspect heavy dirt in the area, coupled with a very dry cool morning, and an antsy driver frustrated at traffic.

If construction dust/dirt debris was on an adjacent road without any speed reduction on said road, the city/state/contractor could be held responsible for safety standards.:2cents:

I would say this is about as accurate of idea of what happened as any.

From experience,a broken back can be a life changing event.It totally altered mine,so take care of it and don't mess with it or it will come back to haunt you the rest of your life.Get well,I'm going to need a torsion bar delete brace.

Agree, however the pun intended was that neither the Sonic or Fit go very fast. Seems speed wasn't a contributing factor anyway though according to your follow-up posts. Get well soon!
