Re: Sonoma GT 0334 - Build Pics

Good Morning All,
It was a busy day at Kenny's Shop.

Big Al flew in from Florida to Wire the Big Stuff 3 & MSD Ignition.
He was did an awesome job and we couldn't be happier.

Big getting ready to cleaning up the Injector Harness.
All the wires had to be trimmed to equal Length so the harness would look clean.

Now this is how it should look.

Working on the inside of the truck.

All of the necessary wires coming out of the tranny tunnel.

All of the wires neatly run under the manifold.

All that is left is to shrink wrap the all of the fitting to keep the colors dark.

Once again I owe Big Al big for helping us out.

Good Afternoon all,
Plumbing the AC Lines is complete.

2008_09_05_KD_013.jpg

The lines will be clamped together with a couple Billet Specialties Line Clamps
and then anchored to the inner fender.

Kenny had to do a little trimming on the Billet Specialties lower bracket to install the crank trigger
.

Sorry Mike - this is the best picture I have of the Crank trigger installed.

Very impressive Marty. Just don't bring it to any of the syty meets so someone else can win an award, lol. Can't wait to see it in person. Give me a call if you want to swing by the shop.

Good Morning all,
Just a couple quick shots of the intercooler plumbing.

Some how this Pipe hit the inner Fender.
So it looks like were going to have to redo this pipe.

Are you planning on keeping the rubber couplers, or getting a mandrel bent pipe for each side?

Do these go inside your fenderwells, or outside?

*EDIT* - I mean, is there a piece in the front that attaches the fenderwell to the core support?

Nope - Rubber Couplers are staying. In theory we could use mandrel bends but is would make the Intercooler very odd looking.

Also they will be inner fenders, Air intake boxes, front cover and fenders will hide this plumbing.

The Inner fenders are bolted to the Fenders and Firewall. So they are independent of the core support.
