Re: Sonoma GT 0334 - Build Pics

Marty, This is a BAD A$$ build.

This truck would have never been possible if it wasn't for a couple of the vendors on this board. Mike @ Race Proven Motors & Guy at Rockford Racecraft have gone above and beyond helping with this truck.

There have been plenty guys on this board like Big Al, Renz, Opie, George Blake that have gone out of there way to help me.

ps I know i've forgotten a few names but i'm really brain dead this morning.

Good Afternoon,

Fuel Line plumbing has begun.
Out of the tank and into the Aeromotive Fuel Filter & A1000 Pump.

Out of the Pump and into the Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator and 10 Micron Filter

From the Filter to the Y-Block under the cab.
Why the Y-Block just in case we go old school on the Fuel Line plumbing.

Up to the fuel rail

Across & Under to the other rail.

And it ends on the other side.
Yep - no return line.

Good Morning All,

What started out as a bunch of tubing has turned into a great looking Exhaust.
I ordered the Stainless Steel Rod Builder Kit from Stainless Works.Net and Dave did the rest.

common practice among shops so you dont have someone walk up and try to crank a motor without it having oil in it.

Thanks, I was wonder the same thing....howz he gonna get the oil in there, or was that for a breather?

So what you are saying is no one made a bolt on catback exhaust?
What is the after market comming to when you can't get a catback for a "lightly modified" GMC sonoma?

Yep, I just couldn't find a Cat Back System. I looked and looked but came up with nothing

Re: Sonoma GT 0334 - Build Pics

Did you speak with Kyle Fickler at Aeromotive about that returnless system?

If not I'd seriously speak to someone about it before having it cause problems.

We tried a simlar setup with our turbo buicks and it leaned out the far rail and richend the close rail.

If you've got it figured out with the Aeromotive guys then ok... but from the looks of the way it's ran

it's not going to work properly.

Keep up the good work,
Scott~

Hi Scott,

There are a bunch of TT hi HP applications running this set up right now. One of them is a pro-charged 572 and there not having any problems. If we have problems the swap over is simple. As i'm not really for "change" but I am willing to try it.

Good Afternoon All,

To say I'm happy with the work that Kenny is doing on the truck would be an understatement.
The guys at Kenny Davis Hot Rods have really exceeded my expectation on this truck.

Quick Pictures of the Air Ride Double Adjustable Shock Wave.

Looks like were going to be using the clear taillights on the truck.
They look the best and stand out the least.

Kenny getting ready to install the guages in the dash panel from Docs Kustom.

The ground effects and what you see on this cart is all that is left.
Wow are we close.
