where does one get nickel hinges? gotta have the bling.

Renz has been working on the Aluminum Hinge Conversion. Maybe he can chime in and give us an update.

Once they were welded and final fitted Kenny sent them off to the Chrome Plater and had them nickle plated instead of Chromed.

It's a much cleaner look on this build.

was just thinking about these the other day actually when i came across my prototypes. I'll see about making some. People will have to nickel plate them themselves though.

Good Morning All,

This post is for all of the people that were concerned about the taillights.
Yes, we agreed we needed to do something different with the lights.

So after searching everywhere I found a set of lights that look pretty darn good.

Found them on Ebay of all places

Once the Line-x is all cleaned up they should blend in well with the back of the truck.

I purchased a set of those and they just don't fit for shit! Am I doing something wrong? They look crooked with the line of the tailgat!

I just bought a set and they fit my Typhoon just fine. I think this set of lights of lights is universal and fits both Blazer and Truck models. You will have to drill two holes in the black plastic that faces the tailgate edge but other than that they fit better than I thought they would and it gives it a unique look but doesn't scream rice. I took some pictures which I will post in another thread.
