(Distributor-less Ignition System) the hole system how much did it cost you .After doing a bunch of tinkering I finally found the parts that will help me get the full potential out of my Holley Dominator setup. I wanted to run the Holley DIS (Distributor-less Ignition System) which includes 3x2 coil pack assemblies and lets you remove the single coil and distributor.. The system requires a cam and crank signal to work properly and will give you the desired sequential fuel injection and advanced ignition system operation.
First I tried a 1x cam sync distributor with the Holley 58x crank wheel and found out that the external crank wheel had too much stuff going on down below... So.... I bit the bullet and contacted Michael Noonan from EFI Connection and he set me up with his new cam/crank signal setup.
The new billet timing chain cover has built in LSX cam and crank sensors so no external crank wheels are necessary. Also included in the kit is a billet 58x wheel that mounts inside the timing chain cover and a modified Cloyes timing chain setup that provides the 1x cam sensor with needed data.
I also got the needed Mallory billet oil pump drive assembly, Holley EFI 3x2 coil packs, and all needed wiring to interface the system with the Dominator..
