Got the battery warrantied and drove her around the block with my daughter who kept saying "don't make it so loud."

I love shiny new parts. They put me in a good mood:D

I went ahead and weighed both pumps. The stock one is 13.5lbs and the Edelbrock is only 8lbs. Over 5lb difference....That was more than I expected!

Changed the distributor, cap,rotor,plugs,coil,battery and wires. Also gave it fresh oil & filter. Just need to get a new IC pump before summer.

Thank you, I try to keep it clean. I bought a polished upper intercooler of e-bay for it and will do the swap when I change the IC pump. Im just not sure what pump to go with. I was thinking of getting the johnson pump from RPM.

I went with the Johnson. Install was an absolute breeze as it mounts directly like the OEM one..only it's bigger.

Any chance of posting (or PMing) another pic or two of your engine bay?:drool:

Thanks for the info on the IC pump, I think I will go with that one. Here is a couple more pics of the engine. Thank you also Brandon for the compliment, hope to see ya at some shows this summer.

Started up the Ty and drove it out of the garage.
Then tried to prime the meth lines and noticed all the fluid leaking out of the bottom of the pump.:tdown:
Time for a call to Julio for a complete alkyl kit.:banghead:

Bolted in my freshly rebuilt Waller turbo and replaced my plugs with UR5's and Taylor wires. Found a nice greasy unused UR5 when I pulled the driver fender and a hammered Bosh Platinum plug in cylinder #4. Haven't fired her up yet but cant wait!
