Detailed the entire truck today including the engine for Englishtowns show this Saturday. Only have engine pics because it was dark by the time I finished waxing the truck. Here are some pics:

Attached the ground bolts on rear of both heads, put headers on last night, not sure if it will make it to Englishtown.

Got the new starter in after taking some time off to reflect. Plus I installed two new inner door handles. One of the springs broke, so I figured for 9 bucks each from LMC why not replace them both.

Nice! I might've been able to do mine also but there was a bunch of other stuff that had already pissed me off on the truck so my patience was wearing thin. :)

Started my WIlwood front and back project today. Got the fronts done except I need to get 1/4 spacers for the front wheels. The calipers just barely miss the zr1's but I think they might scrape in a hard turn.

1. CBR ls1 bracket kit.
2. Wilwood 140-7763 LS1 kit 12.9" rotors 6 piston calipers.
3. Makita 4" grinder
4. WIll need spacers
5. Custom brake line.
6. 2 more cutting projects. The rotor rubbed the lower end of the spindle and the CBR caliper had to have about 1/2 cut out of the center and some massaging on the ears.

Lots of cutting and grinding but well worth it.

I have 1050.00 in the fronts so far. (Got em lightly used)

Well again.......mine is still sitting and not running. I'm waiting on our biz to sell to I can relocate it and actually have the time and money to fuk w/it. I did get home last night to find out that I have enemies in the animal world. I think it was a combo of two dogs? I can't see a bobcat or a raccoon doing this. I'm on 20 acres of land so no telling. I've got a couple of mountain lions but I don't think the prints match.

I did fire some rat shot at these two dogs tuesday to get them off my property and this is how they get back at me. I'm just trying to figure out if these two dogs could have done all that claw damage on the sheet metal? If it's the dogs then they're done when I see them again.

On the bright side the left now matches the right.

I rebuilt my turbo last night and into the wee hours of this morning. Got it reinstalled this afternoon and promptly broke the stock drain line :rant: Now a search to find -AN fittings locally before I just order the premade one from RPM...

Things had been going WAY too smoothly up until about a week ago so I guess I'm experiencing the frustration I see everyone talk about....

took mine out finally with new motor and did a little tuning and see what else needs my attention.

LS1 + S480 turbo + 28 PSI = Time to change pants...

I assembled my transmission front pump and installs the teflon seals. I clean out the freezer out so I can shrink the seals down on the shaft, we will see how long before my notices the transmission parts int eh freezer.

I have been doing a lot of leg work trying to get my Syclone ready to run this year, but its seem like I barely have made any progress. I will just keep on plugging away.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Pulled the oil filter line assembly 'cuz I have a small leak, more of a seep, at the hoses. Kinda irritating with the new build but I can think of a lot worse.

Good call. Years ago my wife's Jimmy (4x4 - 4.3) had a "seep" around one of the crimps in the oil cooler line. Eventually, the line blew completely off! Good thing she knows how to read gauges. She shut it down and saved the engine. Phew.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Removed front wheel arches to clean and buff under them.......also put a new tailgate on yesterday to replace the old one that had three small holes drilled in it and a few small dings that were driving me nuts every time I looked at it!!!

Got a new cat installed, ditched that junk Flowmaster and straight-piped it instead. Love the off-idle growl now. Got some new mounts for the torsion bar x-member, should be tomorrow's project.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Today I started my air to air IC project. Started to uninstall things, and realizing how great it will be with a clean engine bay. Get rid of those extra hoses and the lower H/E. Also uninstalling a aftermarket pump that was used to pump fresh water/antifreeze to the old water to air setup.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Today I was finally able to get the sy out of storage :D

I was suppose to get it last weekend but I was struck with strep throat :( last fri and I am just finally starting to get better. Defiantly got my arse kicked this time.

Not sure what happened to my ostrich but truck wasn't starting so I through old chip in and it fire up pretty quick which was real nice I love being able to drive it on the trailer ;)

Hopefully soon I can start the long list of things to do that I wasn't able to finish last yr.
Change Torque Converter
Replace Block to frame ground with 0/2 cable like the rest of the battery
Replace throttle body
Check for vacuum leaks
Change fuel filter
Get the damn thing to be driveable :D
