Today I change the distributor, knock sensor and O2 sensor and I still can't get it running right! :rant: lol

I squeezed between the Ty and the garage wall to try and find some 194 bulbs for my CUCV guage cluster. Other than that I haven't even looked at it in a couple of weeks.

Disassembled motor, all is well except for crank. Off to the machine shop on Monday.

Thanks its been 6 years for me and if you add the first truck its almost 8. Not that i'm not partialy to blame for taking it back apart all the time I just feel need to move on.

I pulled the front half shafts out tonight. The drivers side was cracked and leaking gunk. I figured after 110,000 plus miles new ones were in order. Here is a pic:

Judging from the coilovers, I assume that's on the Sy. How'd it go?

Yup, the Sy. I am leaving the re-assembly for another day but the old shafts popped out nicely. I'm slowly getting things done, an hour here, and hour there.

Sorry peckerwood.....no one asked for your opinion if it was right. Maybe one day you could take the time to restore a badly beaten high mileage truck from the frame up and make it one of a kind.

i'm sorry 2 say, but the purple wish it not purple that metallic blue . it terrible. but like i alway say, if the owner like it that that all that matters .and by the way i have restore a couple of tys and my has being restore complete chassic frame off restoration. and for your informacion done by me . bucket head.and yes i'm a painter .that y i know thats not purple.

The base color is purple, sorry to say. Though in certain angles of light, it does cast a blue hue, but it is certainly purple.

You didnt buy the paint, shot the paint on the truck, or have seen it in person. Quit being an expert on a truck you dont know anything about.

And heres the picture that is going to end this argument.

Here is the truck both in the shade and sunlight. Notice how the areas of cladding that are in the sunlight is blazing purple, yet the areas in the shade (driver fender cladding and corner of the bumper, door cladding) takes on a blue hue when its not in direct good lighting? Well, there ya go. THE CLADDING COLOR IS PURPLE. But then, you knew that cause your a painter.
