SyTy Jim and vinnieTy,

I'll get it all together and post a thread with links and part numbers on what I ordered to put in my dash. If anyone else wants this info, just let me know and I can send it their way, too.

I took mine from the welding shop with the new exhaust. Damn, I'm so happy, its just so quiet now! I drove all way home with stupid grin on my face :)

There are downsides though - now it's just another car, and not omgwtf-er.

Thanks Sean!

Just a heads-up: the vendor on your ebay link for the 194-based 15 LED bulbs had to cancel my order because he was out of stock. I ended up finding my LED bulbs on Amazon for $9.19 each. A little more expensive than the ebay ones, but it beats the $16.95 each superbrightleds is charging. Link to the Amazon LED bulbs:

Installed the ZQ8 steering box and Jeep steering shaft. Spent enough time outside under her today and started getting dark, so I called it a day. Still gotta refill with power steering fluid and burp the air out, then take her off the jackstands for a test drive!

Took the cover off and drove it around a bit.

It's still fun.

And all this time I thought the HHR was fast! :rotf: (It IS, but the Ty is faster, for sure!)

Drove the shit out of mine today, 100+ miles, stopped at Smaug's house, he took some pics. It was a great day.

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Finished my ZQ8 upgrade from the weekend. Put the intake back in and ran a new front diff breather line. The old one got up against the crossover and cooked a hole through the hose. Then, filled her up with power steering fluid and burped the air out and got the fluid level right. Took her off the jackstands and took a test drive...HOLY HELL!! :shocked!: The ZQ8 and Jeep steering shaft definitely is different from stock. No more slop in the steering wheel and responds like a dream!
