...yep, it has to do with a previous builder who has frustrated many customers, builders, suppliers,
and fabricators who want info or data. Though I had no affiliations, other than beng a customer
courts have a way of getting you involved.

Took the Sy to work 'cause i had to haul some stuff. Much fun. :syty:

At one point it wouldn't start - dead, nothing. :roll:

Popped hood, wiggled battery cable, started right up (gotta tighten that muther...)

picked up a K&N cone off ebay and threw the stock crossover setup back on... less the proper pcv contraption.

Borla SS exhast, and RPM cat delete are now installed.....WOW what I difference in sound. Now I gotta get used to my not-so-much-the-sleeper-Ty exhaust sound. Just in time for Homecoming. I just need to get the passenger side wheel well back in, after I fine tune the wastegate some more. Looks like all the trouble I had attempting to get full boost was all related to the cat. Dang it!

Almost finished sound deadening the cab. As an FYI, you'll need a minimum of 50 sq ft do do the whole cab and doors.

what kind did you use? I did the wifes truck used alot more than that, then again I tend to over do things

...at the Havanah Street Cruise yesterday saw Ivan's old Syclone cruisin with a $19,500 for sale sign.
Terry the owner purchased it back in 2004 (see http://www.sportmachines.com/members/truckind.php?truckid=72 )

Didn't have the heart to tell him that I probably knew more about his vehicle
and "Mr. Terrible" than he did after hearing his version of the past (somethings are better left alone).

Basically a no-name FatMat. I sprayed the inside of the doors with bedliner, so I guess you could require more, but at this point I'm just over 35 sq. ft. and haven't done the roof or anything on the firewall. I suppose you could use more than 50 sq. ft. depending on if you did the doors and firewall.

I wonder if the new owner knows about the nitrous he ran through that motor. I'm sure he only heard the good stuff about that truck and it's douche of an owner.

Long story short.


Super good deal i got on my new wheels from a shop in Lenexa KS, got shut down by the fuzz.

Makers of the wheels in California only received a deposit from the company in KS, and my super good deal just got F'd in the A. Only good thing is that the makers of the wheels still have them, and they are almost ready to ship. Just glad they didnt get shipped to KS, because they would be gone for a year im sure.

filed down metal sticking out of chrome strip holes on roof(cut my self 3 times on burs)

cleaned all roof and power mirror bolts and coated with copper anti seize (no rust clean threads)

scrubbed all wax from roof and antenna holes for paint prep

took off antenna and prepped it for paint.

After messing with the wastgate rod length a few more times after the new exhaust install, my over boost issue is gone. I now have rock solid boost control at 15PSI. A quick launch to test the brake holding power, got to around 8PSI before creeping. Off the brake, and tires a spinnin, and lost my ash tray. It's never done that before (the first one). It feels pretty strong, and I think I HAVE to run it at the track @ HC.

I felt i wasn't contributing enough HAHA. I was actually looking it over and putting a list together of a few things i need to do to it. Do to the fact i'm a little upset not going to homecoming i plan on driving as much as i can this summer. 10k miles in 6 years is not enough HAHA

As for the garage painting the floor this summer and it should be done. FINALLY!

hard wired the radar detector in

took apart roof rack and cleaned/ prepped each piece for paint

cleaned /polished chrome strips from roof-

cleaned plastic moldings from chrome strips
