Walked passed it tucked in the garage, flipped her the bird and kicked the tire.

Took the blocks out, and put back up the torsion bars. Yes, it doesn't look so menicing, but it rides a lot better!

Finally got it running and took a test drive after a short 4 year hiatus.

What prep are you doing to the block? I have this to do in a couple of weeks... Looks good.

Drove mine and locked up the TC at 5mph. It feels fast again. Stoopid TC.

i removed the old plugs and cam bearings. Then had it cryo treated. Then sent it to the machie shop where it was washed, magnafluxed to check for cracks, line honed, cylinders honed, i had it decked, and everything was checked for straightnes and square. When i got it back i put new cam bearings, new freeze plugs, and a basic rebuild. The regular tricks like RTV around the rear main seams, teflon sealant on the head bolts. Nothing special. This is the second time for this engine setup, the first time i clearanced the block and pan for the rod bolts, set the oil pickup height, and that.

Sorry - I should have been clearer. I meant in terms of paint prep - how are you prepping it and what are you painting it with.

I'd like a nice black enamel block to go into my Syclone but I am not sure about getting any old paint off or what to use.
