as a mod on this forum, I think people have "trusted" you for long enough, if your customers want their money back you need to give it to them. If they are willing to wait for the products they ordered then so be it.

eitherway, you need to clean this mess up as soon as possible.

The GP does concern the Admin/Moderator as people are complaining publicly and in private about your GP. As far as I can remember the only GP where it has that have been as delayed as your GP to finish (on feb 26, you said a 7-10 day lead time) are the JS coilovers, (which he publicly posted updates and pictures of progress) and Dunstan's Coilover GP. The only other GP where I have seen people getting pissed off publicly is Dunstan GP. You might start noticing a trend, that GP is going much like the Dunstan GP, hopefully it doesn't end the same way with incomplete kits.

You have promised for a couple month now that you will ship them next week. People have asked for a refund and/or ship the bracket you have and as far as I know you only shipped a prototype bracket that doesn't fit. Your Customer are pissed off and not being unreasonable. You need to take care of them or refund their money.

IMO It is inexcusable to start a frame off/swap and use that as an excuse why you GP is 5 months late. It was very poor planning and your reputation has suffered accordingly.

I talked to them for a long time. Something that is really neat is that once a setup has been done, it is assigned a "part number". Then, when/if someone calls in, poof, they know exactly what's involved, lengths, parts, conduit, strand in fittings, everything. This is pretty bad what has happened. And they assured me that it doesn't take 5 months. More like 6 weeks. Your not talking rocket science. These are off the shelf components and they just crimp the ends on. You should've had prototype for approval in less than 6 weeks. The place I use is even quicker than that. No one "trusts" you at this point. Guys like me have a vested interest in stuff like this. Internet business is hard enough in small communities like this, then someone strides in, take a couple grand and just keeps saying next week. You realize you said the last week and the week before, right? Remember the orders that had no cables? Who are you blaming for that? Whether you realize it or even care, you bust our credibility as vendors because you undermine the trust we have developed with the community. This is BS. Give them the product or give them their money. Quit saying next week.....next week.....next week....that BS and YOU know it. They deserve better than that.

FYI, I didn't ask for customer info. I GAVE the info(your info is in the DOGHOUSE) to them so they could look up the progress you'd made so if anyone wanted to duplicate your supposed work, they wouldn't have to start from scratch. Nothing. The gig's up. Start work and give proof or give money back.

I just checked my old posts on this, when I worked with Jim at the cable supplier (same company) it took 7 weeks from my originally contacting them with a prototype to a finished and shipped product, including a backorder on parts to make the cables. Those guys were very quick and helpful to me, I imagine they would have done the same for HotRodV6 as well.

I garantee they would have. They were very straight up, matter of fact, "this is all it takes" kinda people. This holdup is in NO way whatsoever the company's fault. This all lies on HRV6.

If this is an open invitation and you care to make this happen, one of the guys I trained with runs a mixed martial arts camp in the Houston area so we can do this without any risk of jail time.

If this remark was directed at me, One of the people you robbed is a good friend of mine who is off in Iraq fighting for me so I will do what I can to fight for him here since he doesn't have internet access there.

He has already contacted the legal people on his end that handle this kind of thing for military stationed overseas but it takes forever for them to get anything done.

We have all tried very hard to lead you to the path of resolution yet you continue to pray that what this guy tells you is the truth.

Guys, I have PERSONALLY spoken with the people that HRV6 claims to have a working relationship with and they neither KNOW him nor have ANYTHING on file of him in their system. He lied guys. I know he was probably a nice guy but he has your money and has done nothing but said, next week, next week, next week,.......think about it. Why haven't you got your brackets?......Those have nothing to do with the cables.....he also went to OTHER boards and did the SAME thing.
I've received many PM's thanking me for doing the footwork and standing up for you guys. That is ALL I can do. If you do NOT file police reports he WILL keep your money and you will NEVER get anything.
You will NOT be getting refunds. He has SPENT THE MONEY. It is GONE. Please realize that.

I just think its funny that he followed through on the fan mounts ( probably because they were cheap ) .... and screwed us on this.

Its ok, most of my family lives IN HOUSTON (a bunch of male cousins in their 20's). I will have to get them to go in a civilized manner to knock on his door to retreive my money, if I dont get a paypal refund in a couple days.

If that doesnt work ( like he wont answer his door ) .... the police, paypal, and doghousing my avatar will be the next steps for me. ---
