December SyTy Meet?

Sound good to me. I won't be around Dec. 14-17, but I can definitely make it any other weekend. Ron [ This Message was edited by: camino70 on 2001-12-01 17:46 ]

What's the best way to get to the 4 bolts on the turbo?

I can't get the bottom right nut off. I can't get anything on it. It looks like the housing isn't letting me get a socket or the box end on the nut. I can get the open end on, but I don't want to chance stripping the nut. Any ideas? TIA. Ron

    Grey Cladding

I have grey cladding. It is dull in places, I have tried polish and wax, but they last about 20 minutes. Then it looks faded again. I tried the endurance and haven't had a problem since, looks good and lasts long! Ron

how are msd wires for our syty's?

I am very happy with Taylor Spiro Pro wires and they aren't as expensive as the others, around $35. Ron [ This Message was edited by: camino70 on 2001-11-27 20:06 ]

zanio bro, which one to get?

I am pretty sure that all Sy Tys came from the factory with a one stage paint. Unless yours has been painted, you don't have clear coat. Ron

    Glass detailing (attention Tyler)

I think you should use 0000 grit. Spray the window liberally with your favorite auto window cleaner and gently go over it with the steel wool. Then wipe it down with a cotton cloth. Cleans it up nice. I wish I tried it when I first read Tylers post. Ron

    Grey Cladding

I didn't have much luck treating it like the rest of the truck. It would look great when I was polishing or waxing, but soon after it went back to the dry look. I tried using the tire gel and it looks good and lasts. Ron

    Grey Cladding

My grey cladding started to look bad in some spots, loss of moisture? I started using Meguiars Endurance tire gell. Looks good and holds up well! Ron
