figured I'd throw up a teaser pic of the cts-v brake brackets. Cut a couple sets in case they do work. The one set is a different color because it's stainless. That's the actual test-fitting set because assuming the bracket works, the truck they're going on requires it :tup: This first cts-v kit is headed to sportmachines tomorrow, hopefully they'll be able to test fit it quickly so we can all know the answer of "will it fit."
I'm awaiting my spare set of spindles to return to me so that i can be test fitting these brake kits also...i shouldn't have loaned them out. :lol:

Are we trying to set this up to run the Z06 front and rear rotors.....or is all this for the front only? Sorry if I missed that somewhere...

Does running the CTS-V front caliper on a C6 Z06 rotor keep from having to run a front wheel spacer?
Does the caliper clear 18's?
I've seen where a few on here running C6 Z06 front rotors and calipers are having trouble clearing the front wheels without spacers...which pushes the front wheel out.
If it will clear without spacers, I'll take a kit in stainless when available.

I just bought the front and rear CTS-V calipers today from gm parts direct. I'll use the rear LS1 backing plates and come up with a solution for the mount.
Is there any way I can go ahead and just get a set of these front adapters in stainless?
I'll work with you anyway possible to fab up a rear mount based off the LS1 rears as well.

well i don't know what bolts/spacers are required yet. sportmachines should have their kit in hand by tomorrow. I got a little delayed mailed the kit to them because i had to include some other stuff in the package too.
I think i have another set of stainless brackets, but I only made up 1 set of brake lines. If you can wait a week or so, sportmachines will have ample time to do the mockup and let me know what all i need to include in the kit - i just sent a grouping of spacers and bolts and shims, basically twice what is needed. I don't want to just throw away hardware inventory, so if you can hold tight for a few days we should know what's needed....and once we're sure the brake lines work and are the proper length then i'll make a batch and the kit will be complete/ready to sell.

test fitment was done, and everything needed is now known. We had to adjust the brake line length ever so slightly, and I've since stocked up on a few sets of brake lines.
These calipers require a different size spacer than what i stock for the other kits, so the new spacers are being machined now. I hope to have them in another week or so...depends on their schedule. I have all requisite bolts, and i have a few sets of brackets too.
There are a couple of test mules trying out the kits, once i get some feedback and some install pictures i'll have the kits for sale at the same $150 as the corvette & f-body kits. Sit tight, we're close to being done.

so since the front kits officially are done and work, I was going to post an official for sale thread with details of everything...but figured i'd wait until i could also sell the rear kits.
this was literally the first bracket i made to test and it's fairly close. i need to do some fine tuning/alignment to get the pads 100% centered on the rotor. The setup shown is a rear cts-v caliper on a rear c6 z06 (13.3") rotor. cts-v rotors are 6 lug, thus using z06 instead.
This first version of the rear kits will not include ebrake provisions. ebrake is a whole other gremlin that will be attacked after this non-version. But for now i just want to get a working kit out on the market for those wanting to use these calipers.
