Lightweight 15" Weld ProStars front and rear on 4 BF Goodrich drag radials and Wilwood Brakes on all fours.
Custom gearing allows 28" and 26" diameters to retain awd.

AWESOME LOOK

Thanks for the compliment (there is a lot "going on" that is stealthy to most folks). Basically the 15" dia on lightweight wheels allows me to adjust tire pressure without hitting the cladding to launch very hard due to the many changes.

Until the suspension was tweaked it sometimes pulled the fronts on the street. No boosting, neutral vacuum buildup, or powerbraking required
from idle to 7,500-8,000 rpm shift points it just continues to pull (with a converter stall near 5,000). The "good stuff" is seen underneath when
on a lift but here's a side view (though this is probably too much info that bores lots of people):

Sorry, Unless there is new/current information:

...(and you probably know this), the Billet Specialities double bead locks in 6.5 bs will not clear willwoods
without breaking out the grinder (the ring's protruding bolt cuts hit the top of the caliper housing). But I may working from past data.

Re: Let's see your non stock wheels on a Sy/Ty

How well does C-5 vette rims fit on a Syclone? I'm curious because I want to put my stock rims and tires away. I know that OEM C-5 & C-6 rims are very light weight. I seen a picture of a Sy with C-6 Z06 rims and it looked pretty nice, but I can't find that picture anymore. I realize with AWD, you need to have all 4 wheels with the same tire diameter. I would be nice if wheels spacers were not necessary. Any pictures of any non-stock wheels would be appreciated.

Thanks

Try calling Transwheel is you want the actual Ty-Syh wheels.

Is this your bush?
Re: Let's see your non stock wheels on a Sy/Ty

Atkonkler,

Are your C5 wheels (all 4) rears? I have a set of rears all the way around on my Typhoon and the front wheels are rubbing a little on the inside. I'm going to buy a 1/4" spacer to see if it solves the problem... do you have any insight on this? The rears will get about a 1" space so that they look propper.

Does anybody else have some info that would help me on this? I looked this thread over and did not find an exact answer so if anybody could point me to a link it would begreatly apprecieated!

:)

In this pic I was running 18's in the rear and 17's in the front....I just saw this post now just looking at wheels for sytys.....I currently run 17 inch wagon wheels all the way around so I could rotate them to get longer life and even wear. I don't like not being able to rotate. But if you want ask DAVEP. He knows Everthing.
