    The Big Dawg...

Hey one more... The heat shields on the manifolds look sweet. Are those new replacements or did you fabricate those? Somebody could make some coin pressing out some of those bad boys... What grade steel?

    TPS wiring question...

So there is no wierdness in the splice? I thought there would be some involved if the TPS needs such low and specific voltage... Well, sweet! Does the pigtail merely employ butt-connectors? Thanks for the quick reply Waller! ::baddevil::

    TPS wiring question...

Here is an interesting one... I had a problem that was resolved by changing the TPS. However, the little plastic snap-clip that holds the weatherpack tight broke off. I have it rigged with zip-ties under tension. I have concerns that perhaps some of my ignition freakiness could result from...

    Aftermarket brake rotors?

I got the cross drilled/slotted replacements from NAPA. I dig 'em. Stop well and much less fade. Look pretty cool too. I don't remember if they had a "name."

stripping the cladding for new paint???

Does that mean you actually used steel wool? I'm gonna have to do this soon as well... Was going to just carefully sand the parts for a week, or two, or so... Luckily I have some replacements sitting in original boxes in the basement. =) Stashed 'em there since '92! Probably worth their...

    ls1 rear brakes.

Well... I have driven the Sy every winter since new. I think it rules in the snow as long as it's: Not so deep that it fills the crossmember, compacts hard, and acts as a big 5th brake. Not a really steep slope. Up or down. Wide tires and gravity are a bad combo. As an aside... Ask any...

    The Big Dawg...

Oh, OK. A crank trigger is a must when going with LS1 coils?

    The Big Dawg...

Couple of noOb questions... Checked out all of the pics on the BIG DAWG build. Was about 3,567 I think...LOL Sweet. Obviously some coin was dropped. Why the stock manifolds? I haven't heard an answer to this one yet. I'd rather spend the one large(for headers) on something else...

    ls1 rear brakes.

Da. Threshhold braking will always stomp ABS unless we happen to be talking about some of the newer systems on some German and Jap cars. BUT. Those systems are integrated with other systems which we don't have. Meh. If your boat floats...

    Thanks to HOOD again...

...about to be in the market for some new wires. OEM was all I could find the last time. Are the Taylors the dank? I assume you have the required Delco plugs as well. Think you could PM me a rough total to 28605? If problematic LMK an' I'll call the shop. Thanks!

    Questions...

Wordness. I don't have that much bread to drop but from what I can tell, if the fuel system isn't the first thing you do then you will be thrashed with a cheese grater by the guru's around here. I, having no intention of invoking the wrath of those who know more than me, have decided to agree...

    Questions...

Okay thanks! The sender relocation kit from RPM...that attaches to the Schrader valve on the rail and then you mount the sender for the gauge on the firewall? Is this so that extra stuff hanging on the rail will cause it to break? A sending unit is that big/heavy? Also. RPM's weldon pump...
